Join the FFP Family in the New Year!

2015 FFP family

We are seeking an Intermediate Designer/Architect and a Project Architect to join both our Los Angeles and New York offices!  Please note that if you live in New York, you may have the opportunity to work in our satellite New York City office — relocation to our main office in Los Angeles is not required. Due to the high volume of resumes we receive, we are only able to respond to those who will be considered for the interview phase.

At Frederick Fisher and Partners, we seek to improve lives, community, and the environment through architecture.  We work with some of the most prestigious educational, cultural, civic institutions in the US and beyond.  Our diverse, award-winning projects range from universities and schools to museums and creative workspaces, from adaptive reuse to recreational facilities and parks, from houses to housing.

Guided by four pillars—Process, Context, Function, and Aesthetics—we engage in our design work thoughtfully and thoroughly.  Our location in a historic mid-20th century landmark building that once housed the architecture office of A. Quincy Jones has led us towards an aesthetic of clean elegance, domesticity and delight.  In everything we create, we strive to integrate innovation and collaboration, beauty and authenticity, buildability and sustainability, and a broad cultural perspective.

In addition to competitive salaries, benefits, 401K options, and paid vacation time, FFP prides itself on our very special office culture.  We are a team that truly cares about our work and each other, and we value inclusion, respect, and camaraderie.  While we strive for cohesion, we also believe everyone’s voice matters.  Life-long learning is a priority, and self-motivated individuals are encouraged to explore interests and talents.
